Want to see something different this Halloween? Here is a list of my favorite spooky and/or otherworldly flicks. Though you won't find many slasher movies mentioned below, some of these films are not suitable for kids. Please follow the links to these titles to learn more. You can use the Internet Movie Database to look up plot summaries, directors, cast members, dates, ratings, trivia, information about the actors and directors.

If you're looking for something your kids can watch, try the Screen It site. If your interests pertain to the mystery genre, peruse the titles in Mystery and Suspense from Amazon.com. Maybe you're more inclined toward the SciFi and Fantasy genres.

You may want to see if any of the videos are available at your local library. Some of the classic movies may be playing on Turner Classic Movies, SCIFI, or the American Movie Classics channels in October. You can buy videos and DVDs online in our affiliate shop from Amazon.com. And don't forget the popcorn!picture of IMDB tickets
