How Much Joy Can You Stand?

SARK often goes into bookshops and opens a random book at a random page and finds wisdom on those pages.  In a similar way there are some books that are delivered into your hands at an opportune moment.  How Much Joy Can You Stand? arrived at such a moment for me.

A cross between a life coach and dream guru, Suzanne Falter-Barns has created a book that many readers could say had been written just for them.

It addresses all those long-held, deep-seated "impossible" dreams we have. Those creative projects we'd like to complete or just simply start, the books we'd like to write, the pictures we'd like to paint.  But we're held back by thinking small, thinking ourselves not up to the task.

How Much Joy Can You Stand? is a manual to help bring more joy into your life and to sort out your priorities in life to enable you to capitalise on that joy.

We live in an age where it's possible to achieve our dreams more and more. Yet so many of us hold back ("I am unworthy"), procrastinate (cleaning the house is such a fascinating pursuit when the white page beckons), pursue careers totally unrelated to our ambitions.

There's a chasm between our current life and our dream life and we need to make a leap of faith to reach the other side.  How Much Joy Can You Stand? may well be the kick in the pants you need to make that leap to start living the life you're meant to live.
